TRISKELLION by Will Peterson. I'm not sure if it's Science Fiction, Paranormal, or Horror. But, it's about some teens and some creepy archaeology. I like creepy archaeology, you know..
CAVES OF MARS by Robert Sherman Wolff. More creepy archaeology. Ages ago aliens left clues among ancient sites for future humans to find as they embark on the exploration of space.
.
KAT THE TIME EXPLORER by Emma Bradford. This is for Middle Grade and is part of a series. Well, you know how much I love Time Travel stories! And it's got a girl hero too.
.

20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA by Jules Verne. I'm still trying to learn all I can about Steampunk and this classic was one recommended as a must-read for that subgenre. I really like the DK version because of the great pictures (I'm visually oriented) and because it provides little snippets of factual background, like what's really known about giant squid.
.
PALEO BUGS Survival of the Creepiest by Timothy J. Bradley. This is actually non-fiction and I found it in the children's section because, you know, I have a lot of children (okay, three) and they love to read. So, I spend a LOT of time in the children's section of the library. Anyway, I thought prehistoric bugs would provide me with excellent inspiration for creating aliens in my own stories. Besides, the pictures are fantastic!
.
THE HOST by Stephanie Meyer. I've been hesitant to try Ms. Meyer because I'm really not into blood-sucking dead guys or guys who might shed on my new carpet. However, this one was strongly recommended to me and it does have a really cool Sci-Fi premise.
.
NICK OF TIME by Ted Bell. This is Middle Grade and, well, you know how I feel about Time Travel.
HEIR APPARENT by Vivian Vande Velde. I have this one to review for you all. It's about a girl who gets stuck in a computer game. Vivian Vande Velde has an impressive backlist.
.
Well, that's it for this week. Happy reading!
